Student Transport

Home to school transport is arranged and administered by Essex County Council (ECC). During the induction meeting, parents/carers are required to complete and sign a Parental Transport Request Form, which the Centre will then submit to ECC on their behalf.

To be eligible for transport assistance, students must normally live three miles or more from the Centre. Transport is typically provided through public transport, such as bus or train travel. In certain circumstances, contracted transport may be approved; however, this is determined solely by ECC and is subject to specific eligibility criteria and assessment requirements.

The Centre is unable to guarantee transport provision, as all decisions regarding eligibility and the type of transport provided are made by Essex County Council.
