Our curriculum is designed to meet the unique and complex needs of pupils in an alternative provision setting. Our core purpose is to support every child in achieving a positive and sustainable next step—whether that is reintegration into mainstream education or transition to a more appropriate specialist setting.
Our specialist curriculum, alongside key aspects of the national curriculum, supports pupils in building essential skills for learning. We prioritise pupils’ wellbeing, behaviour and attitudes, understanding that these are vital to helping them learn successfully and move on to their next setting.
Through tailored assessment, engaging learning experiences and high levels of individual support, we aim to re-engage pupils in education, helping them rediscover confidence, develop their strengths and achieve the best possible outcomes for their future.
